Our Mel Maria students on both campuses enjoyed a visit from local author James Foley. The children were entertained by his theatrical presentation, exploring his journey on how he became an author illustrator. James led the children in a “How To Draw’ activity of two of his book characters, Stellarphant, and Happy Barry Capybara and inspired them to write and draw their own books. The children were engaged throughout the entire presentation and demonstrated true Mel Maria enthusiasm and positive behaviour.
