MATHS4

The Maths Olympiad is a challenging competition for high-achieving maths students. It allows teams and individuals to ‘put their talent to the test’ and compete against other schools and students across Australia and New Zealand.

The four competitions are held in March, May, June, and August. Each competition covers a wide range of questions where numerous problem-solving strategies can be applied. Maths Olympiads involve solving complex and challenging math problems. This helps children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills which are important for success in many fields. They learn new mathematical concepts and ideas and strengthens their existing knowledge. Students build confidence in their abilities to solve difficult problems. Participation in Maths Olympiads can improve academic performance in mathematics and other related subjects.
